The Appointed Union and Employer Trustees
The appointed union and employer trustees (the “Board of Trustees”) act as a Pension Committee, which oversees the administration and operation of the Plan and the pension trust fund associated with Plan.
The Pension Committee’s goal is to efficiently deliver pensions to the members. This goal will be achieved by ensuring the funds are properly invested and administrative and communication services to Members are delivered in a timely manner.
The Pension Committee is ultimately responsible for the administration of benefits and the investment of assets of the Plan. An administrative agent, Benefit Plan Administrators Limited, along with qualified external experts, support the Pension Committee.
